FOUNDERS:
- Hazime Çevik, Hüseyin Ak Kindergarten- TURKEY
- Radita Lonela Loredana- GRĂDINIȚA PEȘTIȘORUL DE AUR- ROMANİA
Project Idea – Experiment and Kids
This project allows preschool children to learn about energy, water, and recycling through simple, safe, and fun experiments. Children will explore, observe, predict, and explain results using their own words.
The project supports:
Hands-on experiments suitable for preschoolers
Observation, prediction, and discovery-based learning
STEM skills through experimentation
Collaboration with partner schools
WORK PROCESS
Age Group: 4–6 years
Duration: January – May
Focus: Simple experiments and STEM learning
Children will experiment with:
Energy (light/dark, hot/cold, on/off)
Water (floating–sinking, full–empty, clean–dirty)
Recycling (material testing, sorting experiments)
Aims
Students will be able to:
Make simple predictions before experiments
Observe changes and results
Explain experiments using simple language
Learn cause–effect relationships
Develop curiosity and scientific thinking
Work together and share materials
Take first steps into STEM and logical thinking
Learn by doing, playing, and experimenting
Teachers will be able to:
Improve experiment-based teaching skills
Design safe and age-appropriate STEM experiments
Share experiment ideas and outcomes
Collaborate and reflect with partner teachers
Project Outcomes
Children become active learners through experiments
Curiosity, creativity, and environmental responsibility are strengthened
Learning is joyful, meaningful, and memorable
All experiments and results are shared on TwinSpace and school blogs
